Orbyne is a studio of senior designers and engineers. Founders bring us an idea; we hand back a shipped product — web, mobile, and everything behind it.
Selected work
Taken from idea to launch
Not mockups, not proofs of concept — live products with real users. Here are five we designed, built, and shipped.
01Social platform
A home for virtual photography
Inside every modern game is a camera, and behind it a photographer with nowhere to publish. We designed and built Picashot as the place that work belongs — a social platform where virtual photographers and gamers share their shots, build portfolios, and find each other. We took it from concept to a live product across web and mobile, on infrastructure built to keep up as the community grew.
- Thousands of community uploads and counting
- Creator portfolios with cross-platform publishing
- Web and mobile from one shared design system
- A scalable backend that grows with the community
02AI editing
Editing that speaks your language
Sendyte turns plain sentences into finished edits — describe the change, and your images and video are transformed in front of you. Our job was to make that feel obvious rather than magical: shaping AI workflows into an interface people trust, keeping the loop from prompt to result fast, and building a frontend that stays out of the way of the work.
- Natural-language image and video editing
- AI workflows shaped into a calm, legible interface
- Fast iteration from prompt to finished result
- A modern frontend built for heavy media
03E-commerce
A storefront as soft as the brand
Softmorrow is a made-to-order apparel brand for book lovers — tees designed around reading culture, printed on demand and delivered across Nigeria. The brand is warm, slow, and personal, and the store had to feel the same. We built an editorial storefront around a simple made-to-order flow, with room for custom requests and none of the friction of a typical shop.
- An editorial storefront true to the brand voice
- Made-to-order and custom-order flows
- Nationwide delivery with local payments
- Light and fast on every connection
What we do
Four disciplines, one team
Most agencies hand your project between departments. Here, the person who designs your product sits next to the person who builds it — usually they're the same person.
Product strategy & design
We start with the problem, not the screens. Research, product thinking, interface design, and prototypes you can actually click — so decisions get made on evidence, not decks.
- Product strategy
- UX & interface design
- Prototyping
- Design systems
Web engineering
Fast, accessible web applications built on modern foundations. We sweat the details users feel — load times, interactions, the way a page settles — as much as the architecture underneath.
- React & TypeScript
- Design engineering
- APIs & data
- Performance
Mobile engineering
Apps that feel native because they behave natively. We ship iOS and Android from a shared codebase where it makes sense, and go fully native where it doesn’t.
- iOS & Android
- Cross-platform
- App Store launches
- Offline & sync
AI product development
We build AI features people actually use: natural-language interfaces, generation workflows, and the judgment to know when a model belongs in your product — and when it doesn’t.
- LLM features
- Generation workflows
- Prompt-to-product UX
- Evaluation
How we work
Built around momentum
No discovery phases that last a quarter. No big reveal at the end. You see progress every week, from the first one.
Understand
Week one
A short, intense start: we learn your product, your users, and what success actually looks like. You get a plan with real scope and real dates — not a vague estimate.
Design
Weeks, not months
We design in prototypes you can hold, not slideware. You react to something real early, so by the time we build, there are no surprises left in the design.
Build
Shipping weekly
Working software every week, in your hands from the first. Because our designers and engineers are the same team, nothing gets lost in translation.
Launch & sharpen
Ongoing
Launch is a milestone, not the finish. We stay to watch how people actually use the product, then sharpen what matters — performance, rough edges, the next feature.
Why Orbyne
What working with us feels like
Plenty of studios can make something beautiful. Fewer can make it real. The difference shows up in how the work happens.
Design and engineering, one room
The gap between "designed" and "built" is where products die. We closed it: the people who shape the product are the people who ship it, so what you approve is what you get.
Senior people, no layers
No account managers, no juniors learning on your budget. You work directly with the people doing the work — so decisions happen in conversations, not committees.
We ship, then stay
Every product on this page is live. We measure ourselves on what reaches users, and we stick around after launch — because that’s when a product starts teaching you things.
Craft as a habit
The spacing, the easing, the way an error is worded — we care about details most people never consciously notice, because in aggregate they’re exactly what people feel.
Kind words
From the people we've built with
“Working with Orbyne Studio felt like working with someone who genuinely cared about the product, not just the code. They translated a very emotional brand into a website that feels warm, intentional, and effortless to use. People constantly compliment the experience, and it finally feels like Softmorrow has a home that matches what we stand for.”
“We’ve worked with a few agencies before, but this was different. Communication was clear, decisions were backed by good reasoning, and the final product felt thoughtfully engineered. Everything loads fast, looks premium, and has been incredibly easy to maintain.”
“The biggest difference was the attention to detail. Nothing felt templated or rushed. From the interactions to the responsiveness and overall polish, every part of the product felt intentional. Our team now has far more confidence showing it to customers.”
End-to-end product builds are our sweet spot: a new product from first idea to launch, or a serious rebuild of an existing one. We also join teams for focused design or engineering work when the fit is right. If it needs to look good and work well, it’s probably a fit.
A focused product usually takes eight to sixteen weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on scope. You’ll see working software from the first weeks, not the last — so the timeline is something you watch happen rather than take on faith.
Fixed scope, fixed price for defined projects; a simple monthly rate for ongoing partnerships. Either way, you know the number before we start, and we’d rather tell you a project isn’t worth building than sell you one that isn’t.
Yes. Some of our best work starts with an existing codebase and an honest audit. We integrate with in-house teams, work in your repositories and your tools, and leave things better documented than we found them.
The people building your product — directly. No layers of account management, no telephone game. You’ll know everyone on the project by name, and they’ll all be senior.
Whatever the product needs. Most clients keep us on for iteration after launch, because that’s when real usage starts teaching you things. Others take the keys and run — everything we build is documented and yours, so both work.
One more thing
Have something worth building?
Tell us what you’re making and where it’s stuck. If we’re not the right team for it, we’ll say so — and point you toward whoever is.
No deck required. Bring the idea — we’ll bring the questions.
Rather put it in writing? hello@orbynestudio.com — long emails are welcome here.
